- Although I've often thought it would be good to use GnuCash to keep track of my finances, I've never taken the time to actually use the thing. That changes now. My bank offers transaction information in several downloadable formats that GnuCash supports, so I'll be able to quickly and easily keep track of most of my cash flow.
- I uninstalled X-Moto completely because not only did I get Aaron addicted, but the latest version (now with over 100 all-new maps!) threatened to completely consume my time.
- Speaking of Aaron, he helped me out with some photo organization that I've needed to get done. That appears to have been a catalyst, because I've been on a roll, having organized backwards through time to the beginning of 2004. The big stumbling block for 2004 has been the choir tour to Chicago, photos of which number in the several hundreds (to Frederick, Stephan, and David: expect phone calls from me soon).

You know what I really hate? When people comment on a post in your blog / LiveJournal / whatever just to say “hey whats up krut long time no talk lol”. I mean honestly, when a post is specifically topical, I find it a little inappropriate to insert a random comment. It is not as if there are not other venues by which they can contact you: Chances are good that if they found your blog, they can easily find your email or maybe even your phone number. Dumb bastards.
So … how have you been?
Apparently, I haven't subscribed to your blogspot page. Is this still temporary, or are you going to avoid WordPress from now on?
By the way, sorry for not returning your last phone call. I'm not sure I have your most recent number.
Oh, and I'm choosing to ignore the other comment for this post. Wink.
Oh, how ironic.
THAT'S NOT IRONY! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!
No, no, see, it's a different kind of irony, it's … it's … Aristotelean, or something … mumble mumble middle school.
Here's some more random stuff not related the the post...
Did you know Gmail has IMAP now? How long has it done that?
to the*
I'm aware that Gmail has IMAP support, although I hadn't heard that it was generally available yet. Kudos to them for finally implementing it.
They have apparently been rolling it out this past week, along with a few GUI tweaks and bumping the storage space up to 5+ GB
Needless to say, I am now happily accessing my Gmail via IMAP in Thunderbird. :)
Good to hear...and my word, child, your response time is in the single digits?! Ruling out coincidence, I'm assuming you're subscribed to the comments via email?
That would be correct, lol.
